Direct Onboarding of Clients:
As a policy, we don’t work with distributors / wealth managers to get access to new clients. Instead, we choose to have direct relationship with our clients and grow mainly by way of word of mouth & client referrals.
However, SEBI requires each portfolio manager to have a separate disclosure informing the clients that they have an option to get onboarded directly and not necessarily have to invest by way of a distributor (which involves additional fees in form of commissions).
SEBI mandated disclosure: Pursuant to SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/IMD/IMD-POD-1/P/CIR/2024/80 dated June 7, 2024 and any amendments thereon, clients have an option to enter into an Agreement with the Portfolio Manager directly, without intermediation of persons engaged in distribution services. At the time of on-boarding of clients directly, no charges except statutory charges will be levied.
